Designing Sounds Means Designing Relationships

In this article we propose the perspective of relationship as a conceptual approach to discipline sound design. Based on literature reviews and case studies, state that making design means designing relationships, even before sounds, include expression in current definitions discipline. Moreover, observe practices can be inscribed more than one relational perspective, thus widening scope possibilities. This multi-perspective view barycentre system becomes useful analysis tool: it allows designers investigate complex problems contemporary projects, aiming toward fruitful unexpected directions.
